Sometimes I just get a little crazy with the metallic colors and today was one of those days. I just thought these Riddersholm papers from the Flying Unicorn Store and my Creative Embellishments chippies would look great with lots of gold accents.
Don’t be afraid to cut your chipboard pieces apart as I did with these Creative Embellishments Berries. Sometimes you need to do that to achieve your desired effect. I painted the berries with Silks paint in Emperor gold. Love how they look with the floral clusters!
To add even more of a metallic look, I used Stampendous Aged Gold embossing enamel around the edges of my layout.
I used two different mists to color the branches. First I used Lindy’s Frosty Forest Green which is a green with a bluish caste, I used that so the branch would blend nicely with the papers. Then I dabbed on some Lindy’s Gator Gumbo Olive to add gold to the branches.
I used the Friends word from the Friends Word Set and painted it with Silks Emperor Gold.
The flowers were black but I sprayed them with gold mist so they’d have a nice metallic look too!

So that’s how I go for the gold! I don’t have an athletic bone in my body so this is the only way I can go for gold! Thanks for visiting us today. Be sure to visit the store often because Nicolle runs some terrific sales and she’s always adding new items.
