This image inspired me, between my pen name and the label of garment, which I keep since already quite a lot of time, without knowing really what I shall make…. Hey well now, I know!!!!

You will find all the colors on my AJ, highly-rated “music” finds itself in my pen name and the masking bangs tape!!

I used the chipboard “large clock face 3″“, and the magnificent stamps: Distressed Chevron & Distressed Text!!!!

My tutorial on Youtube: HERE!!!

The bright colours, music and guitar in the inspiration image made me think of The Beatles – so I created a page in my Music-Inspired Art Journal for their song All You Need Is Love. I started the page by cutting up the Hearts Panel 2 and gluing scattered pieces of it over the two-page spread. I added ‘drips’ from the bottom of the hearts using a hot glue gun and then coated everything with Heavy White Gesso. I added colour to the page by sprinkling several different Finnabair Mica Powders in places and then misting the pages with water to activate the colours. I dry-brushed the heart panel pieces with Finnabair Art Alchemy Opal Magic Acrylic Paint in Aqua-Rose (I wish you could see how the opal magic colour changes in different light!). Then, I smudged charcoal pencil around the outside of all the chipboard hearts and the drips. I added the title and the CE chipboard ‘Love’ (from the Happy Words Set), which I embossed with Ranger Black Embossing Powder. Finally, I splattered everything with Diluted Black Soot Distress Reinker.

Hi everyone! I love the new inspiration photo this month…so many ways you can go with it! I decided to do a beach themed card…the title is Hello to go with the challenge twist…I am sure we all recognise that song title hehe. I love all the Nautical themed chippys CE has to offer! I have used pieces from the Sea Weed 2 Set and Nautical Compass Set on this card. I hope you all play along with us this month!

Hi my CE friends!! This month inspiration photo, reminds me of the song ,,Happy ”by Pharrell Williams . I was inspired by amazing bright colours, butterfly and flourish . I have used lots of CE chipboards: butterflies, mini frame ,heart flourish corner  and squares . The title happy from happy word set  was altered with black gesso and then I splash some  white gesso. On the background I used distressed crackle stamp.I also added to my project , beautiful Butterfly flair.. I hope you will join in on the fun with this month’s challenge!

Hi friends. I was inspired of the treble clef as well as yellow/orange colors. For my title of song, I chose “Superstar” of Jamelia. Not that I love but it suited at my page. Lol. I stayed in the theme : star by using Star of the Show where I applied Irresistible ink and Stars Frame. On my background, I used Grunge Stars Stamp with embossing powder but it don’t see well on the picture. Hope to see you all playing along with us this month!!!!

Hi lovelies, I was inspired by the purple/orange yellow and pink colors in this beautiful mood board. I am a hugh fan of “Within Temptation” and I was planing to make a layout with a black background for a while now and this was the perfect mood board for it. For the song I used “Frozen” which is one of my favorites of them. I totally love that the Snow Word Set  has exact that word in it so I used it. First I added some gesso to later on sponge some glitter snow on it. Behind the picture you see the Music Note Frame 2  peaking through I embossed the whole piece. And for the branches in my flower clusters I used the amazing Berry Branches these I colored with green olive by Shimmerz and on the berries I added blush pearlescents by BoBunny. I sure hope you will play with this month’s challenge 😉

music card w 900

I really wanted to play on the colors and feel of the inspiration which to me was free, alive, and full of color.  I just got the Ken Oliver Color Burst and Liquid Metals in the mail and I knew they would be a perfect match for this month!!  I used the Music in my Heart chipboard and Butterfly Flair on the card, but really kept it simple letting the fun colors shine through.  Here is a full video tutorial on how I made this card –

I was inspired by the music notes and hearts in the image above. For the twist I picked the song “I’m too sexy” by right said Fred. The music note music frame was altered with TH black soot stain. The music frame was altered with TH Blue distress paints. I lightly stamped the  distressed music note image to the background.  I designed a stencil that I will add to the store this weekend. The music notes with flourishes. It’s really cute . I didn’t do it any justice since my crafting table is a bit messy and couldn’t really find a flat surface left to work on. :/ I used the music in my heart chipboard piece and used the ombre technique on it.  I also added a wood mustache, geek glasses and neck  ties (new and will be added to store soon). Can’t wait to see what you all create.

Link up your project below for a chance to win a $50.00 gift voucher to our store.
