Hi all! Tara here with you today sharing a hanging Christmas chalkboard. My inspiration for this piece was a canvas word title “Family” that I purchased at Mikes last year around the holidays. I started by layering crochet trim and medical gauze under my title. Then using holiday paper I die cut several spiral flowers with a spellbinders die, along with coordinating leaves.
Adding two different Pine Trees on either end of my flower clusters that I embossed with white and gold enamel. And a cute bow from the Jingle Bells Set. After adhering all my elements down I generously went over everything with snow tex to give it that winter wonderland look and sprinkled the entire piece with white distress strain to add to the snow effect.
Lastly, I added spread a few small Snowflakes to the upper portion of the chalkboard, that I had also embossed with the same above colors. I hope you all enjoy this Holiday project. Be sure to check out the CE
