Happy Halloween All! Tara here, back again with a spooktacluar project for Creative Embellishments. I’ve created an Altered Witch Hat perfect for Halloween decor and table centerpieces.

I started with a paper mache witch hat that I purchased at Michael’s. First I used a Prima chicken wire stencil and texture paste to add some dimension. Then I sponged dabbed the entire hat with matte black paint. Next going in with silver Inka Gold to emphasis the raised areas created with the stencil. Then I started adhering my handmade paper flowers, using G45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe and the TH Big Blooms flower die. I layered several paper flowers then added satin blooms on top. Also, arranging various paper leaf dies in the flower clusters.
Next I embossed all my Creative Embellishments chipboard elements, including the MINI SPIDER WEBS, 3/4 MINI GEARS and the title TRICK OR TREAT. I rubbed silver Inka Gold over all my chipboard embellies. I added a small metal skull to the web, a big glitter spider, several black feather along with a few black sprays.
Lastly, I spritzed the entire hat with white ink spray to soften the look! I hope you all enjoyed this project and are able to gain some inspiration for your own Halloween creations!  Be sure to check out Creative Embellishments Store for all your Halloween and Fall craft items!
