Hi guys! Tara here, today I would like to share with you my Summer Twig Wreath. The wreath itself I picked up at Target in the $1 spot section around Easter time. When I received my design team package this month, I knew I just had to alter it.

First, I gathered a good amount of Spanish Moss and glued it down the entire right side, giving me a base to work with. Next, I arranged all my flowers (from Prima), leaves and vines. At each end of the cluster I also added in some burlap leaves, to give a different texture.

I lightly coated all my chipboard pieces with gesso. I didnt want to alter the chipboard too much, as I really wanted to keep the brown tones Using, the BirdhousesBirds, And the word “Live” from the Happy Word Set, all from the Creative Embellishments store.

Once I had all my embellishments down. I went over everything with a sponge dabber and gesso, to give it a white washed look. I used two different Glimmer Mist sprays in Sprout and Woven Burlap, to add a few specks here and there. Lastly, I added a small twine bow and a Prima resin Bumblebee.
