Hey there! It’s Terhi here again with a scrapbook layout about my younger daughter.

There are two things I never get bored with. First is my family, obviously,  and the other one is a combination of chipboards and embossing powders. I just love the way chippies gives to much dimension and interest, and using embossing powder on them they look so fresh and shiny – just my style and my favorite way to create scrapbook pages!

This layout got it’s idea of the picture. No other words than “adorable”, the chipboard is from Boy Word Set. Usually I start to create a page from the background, but this time I did the opposite. I picked the picture and put the title on it. Then choosing papers, and lastly I created the background. Maybe not the common combination to use deep purple and greens together, but it works! I definitely recommend to try I out the weirdest color combos – sometimes they work, and sometimes not, you’ll see 😉

To continue the theme of shiny embossing powder, I used it to the background, too. With Distressed Chicken Wire Stamp and Versamark ink – another technique I suggest you to try 🙂

Now, if you are as obsessed as I am with chipboards, you should apply to our Design Team – the CALL is open RIGHT NOW!! Here is the link to it!

Have a great day, and we’ll see soon! Thank you for stopping by.

Terhi xx
