Happy Thursday friends! Nicolle here sharing another canvas. This one is going in my bathroom! .;) I love the look of industrial lights. I am drawn to them. Not really sure why but I went with it.

I altered our pipe works chippies with a base coat of black soot distressed paint.  Then I added  a copper metallic color lumiere paint by jacquard.

For the hanging lights I applied black soot paint to the top and then dry brushed with a little pewter paint. The actual light bulb part was altered with gold colored paint and the filaments with brass paint. All lumiere by jacquard. I then added some magic mesh for a cage look around the bulbs. The gears were altered like the pipes and I painted some with solid copper color as well.

Lastly I added a break in the line…. Go with the flow even when a  wrench is thrown in. You know that damned murphy..;) Oh and the wrench I did add to the canvas was one of my dad’s. His memories are scattered throughout my home and in my crafts.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog!!
