Hi! It’s a day early, but it’s Terhi here wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
I created two cards with the same recipe: White cardboard, some color on it (blue is acrylic paint, and green is PanPastels), then a doily and paper layers, and last I added a big lovely chipboard word altered with embossing powder. Finishing touches with spray mists and liquid pearls. Super easy and quick – but the result is awesome.
I know I’ve talked before about using left overs, but I’ll remind you again. For example, the word “love” is actually from a “This is Love” chipboard package but since I already used the word “this” to another layout, I wanted to use the word “love” to some other project. And what could possibly be a better place for it than a Valentine’s Day card!?
For a cards like these, I wanted to have something sparkling and shiny, that’s why I chose to alter my chippies with embossing powders. I love the way embossing technique leaves dark edges shown, it gives more depth to the card.
I’m hoping you’re having a great and sunny Valentine’s Day tomorrow – full of love of course!
Thank you for popping here today!
