Happy Tuesday CE Friends! Nicolle here sharing a canvas I created. I absolutely love snow and Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without it. We actually had a bit of a dusting the other day. I was in my glory. Most people think I am nuts for loving snow but let me just say this. I love snow but I do not like the bitter cold. Anything below 30 degrees is torture. I just like the white stuff. 🙂 Don’t hate.
I used a ton of chipboard on this project. I started by priming each piece with gesso. I then added modeling paste to the tall trees, pine trees , winter bush, snowman and branches of the berry branch. The rest of the chipboard pieces I added some 3d stamp paint for a little texture.
I then went ahead and added another coat of gesso over all the chippies and part of the background.
After the gesso was dry I swiped some brushed pewter over different areas of the canvas to define some of the textures in areas.
Lastly I added some white opaque flakes to finish the snowy look.
A true wintery masterpiece. Love it.
That is just stunning. WOW, to much detail.
Gorgeous canvas, love the dimension and texture.
soooooooooo beautiful!!!!!
This is absolutely gorgeous Nicolle! We have about 3 inches of snow here and I want to get excited about it. Maybe I need to create a winter layout. 🙂
