Happy Hump day! Nicolle here today sharing a layout. Jolie went to my nieces party and the theme was to dress up like a “rock star”. Emily got a really cool karaoke machine for x-mas last year and they built a stage and rocked out for her Bday party. Jolie had a fun time and won a trophy for best outfit. She always has a good time with her cousins.
I stamped the distressed chevron image vertically on the background paper applying a purple colored pigment ink. I then applied the music note sheet image horizontally using black soot distress stain.
I left our cut apart moraccan lattice panel in its raw kraft color state and placed around the layout. I simply altered flourish 10 with a little mowed lawn distress stain.
For flourish 12 I applied mowed lawn as a base coat and then applied rock candy crackle medium. I let that dry and then went over the with pine needles distress stain to define the crackle. I never seem to be able to get it to all absorb into the crackle. I wonder if I have to apply the crackle medium a bit thicker?
For the mini ornate frame I simply applied inka gold metallic rub in purple.
Thank you stopping by the blog. Have a creative day!

Fabulous work! Love the chevron stamp done vertically like you have it here! So glad I have that one to play with now! The mini ornate frame looks great as a layer! Must remember that!
Love it 🙂 Great layers and texture. Pretty butterfly 🙂
