Happy Hump Day friends! Nicolle here again sharing a layout. Last month my aunt Jolie’s Godmomma and great aunt suprised her with a seasons pass to Darien Lake. She has been wanting to go for years and she was ecstatic when she found out she was going. Jolie loves it there. My aunt took an adorable picture of her in this big chair. I started by stamping square images with our squares stamp. I applied dark green ink from a faber castell big pitt artist pen before stamping the image. Using geometric shapes on layouts and other paper crafts seem to continue to be popular. I altered a few of the chipboard squares and our flourish 10 chippie also using the faber castell artist pen. I also left a few squares in raw form. I altered the Surprise title piece using prima chalk edgers in yellow and green colors. For the winter bush piece I colored haphazardly using a dark brown artist pen. I didn’t want to cover it completely since I was going for an imperfect look. The wood ladybugs I simply used black and red permanent markers to alter them. For the I heart you frame I simply altered using a prima chalk edger.
I created an ombre or gradient effect on the title piece.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by the blog.
Great layout. Love all the elements
