Happy Thursday! Nicolle here again sharing a layout. Kayla took AP Biology in her senior year and she dissected a bunch of different stuff. The picture below is of a cat. So if you are easily grossed out do not continue. There is no blood or anything and the focal point isn’t really on the cat. Kayla actually reminds me Dr. Jekyll . Look at that FACE. She is sooo very animated and makes me laugh. I love this goofball.

I do not know what it is lately but this layout is just really bad. I haven’t had any mojo lately. I have been trying to master the watercolor technique and I just can’t do it. Of course in trying to make things look a little better I just made things worse. I am not one that easily gives up so I will continue and not let the technique get the better of me. I have checked out youtube for tutorials. I am thinking its at least partly the paper.

The fishnet panel and a few pieces from the graduation wood veneer I didn’t alter and left them in there natural state. I wanted to keep with the neutral color scheme of the papers. I altered the antique clock applying some maya gold in grey. I also altered the 2 wood veneer geek glasses in grey. The wood globe I simply used a faber castell big pitt pen in the color blue.  Lastly I stamped a few paint splats applying prima chalk edgers to the stamp first. The ornate frame I primed with a base coat of gesso. I then dabbed distressed paint in green and added some teal blue mist.
