Happy Monday Friends! I hope everyone’s weekend was a memorable one. Nicolle here today sharing a layout. Recently my son bought himself a pair of red contacts. Kids nowadays and their type of fun. Ehh I think they are pretty cool. I am a huge fan of many vampire shows and movies out there so I had to get a pic. Bret loves to pose for the camera so its never hard to get a photo of him. He is currently going to modeling classes so he never minds that I snap a pic of him.
I started with spraying the white card stock with red mist. I figured it would be fitting to let the mists drip.. I then stamped the distressed text image over and across the page. I applied distress black soot ink before stamping the image. The handsome and time flies frames were altered with maya gold in grey for the base coat. I then applied red acrylic paint with a dry brush across the frames for a bloody sort of look. Ehh its hard to tell in the photo but looks pretty cool in real life. For the Flourish I simply applied Tim holtz distress paint in antique linen color for the base and then swiped with a stazon ink pad in jet black color. I left the wood geek/chic glasses , mustaches and emoticon unaltered.
Can you see his RED eyes..lol
A close up of the cluster on the right.
More often then not I use a sketch for inspiration. I was inspired by the latest sketch at sketchabilities # 115 designed by Karan Gerber.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. Have a creative day!
