Good Morning Scrappy Chipboard Friends. hope you are enjoying the sunshine out there. I have a beautifully layered project to share with you today for Creative Embellishments.
the photo is of my two boys while we were in Panama City, Florida in 2013. My boys are growing into young men and dont always appreciate when their photo is being taken, especially if they see me. I have to say i have turned into a “sneaky photo taking mom” LOL!! and this one is one i haven’t scrapbooked yet. The paper line is from Heartfelt Creations – Sunny day collection. That i have left over from a paper pack i bought last year at CKC in Buffalo.
the photo frames are perfect for adding extra dimension to your projects. this one i just dabbed with tattered angles glaze and went over with a sponge dipped in Tahiti chalk ink. i wanted to give it a “patina” look.
the flourish and leaf vine i wanted to make them look like it was fall, so i dabbed with gesso, heat set then dabbed with gelatos from faber castell. covered with versa mark, dipped in UTEE only once and they turned out B- E – A UTIFUL.
and the grid stamp just adds some extra finished textured to the edges and frame of the photo. here is a photo of the layers put together for the photo area.
Happy Scrapping, and until next time, Keep smiling! 🙂
