Hello Everyone, i hope where you are, if you have snow, that there are signs of Spring. Hopefully the snow is melting.
Its Karan here and im back today to share another card for you today, this one with plenty of eye candy. We have had such a long winter, that i so wanted to do a bird cage and flowers…in hopes that maybe, it would bring Spring….so here is what i came up with.
I used a 6×6 square lattice panel on the background. photo/page corners in the corner and Bird Cages too. So the first thing you will want to do, is to prime all the chipboard pieces you will be using with Gesso. Think of chipboard like painting a wall, prime it to get the true colour you want to use.
SO, i primed my pieces. and heat set to dry. the lattice background i coloured with Quick Quotes Chalk Ink, Tahiti and Baja Blue., did the same with the bird cage
I coloured the corner with Faber Castell Big Brush Pens
heat set to dry and then applied a coat of versa mark and dipped in UTEE four times
and it turned out like this, these photo corners have such incredible detail to them, i felt it would be perfect for the cage.
i then darkened the birds on this piece with a darker big brush pen. here is a detail shot. These 6×6 panels are grat for 6×6 cards, the possibilities are endless 😀
see you again soon 😀
