Happy Friday folks!! Nicolle here on the blog today. I hope everyone had an amazing week.
Today I am sharing a layout I created of my Jolie posing next to the tree in front of our house. I believe this was taken in spring of last year. She’s growing up to soon.
I used one of our new stamps I will be adding to the store this weekend. It’s a checkboard design with a bit of distressing. I used so many chipboard pieces on this page. All the film strip borders and frames were altered with some maya gold in the color grey. I then applied a bit of white paint to a crackle stamp and stamped the image onto the film strip chipboard pieces. I altered the little cut apart chicken wire panel piece in the bottom right corner the same as the filmstrip frames/ borders. I applied some gesso to the hexagon pieces for a base and then added a dabbed some blue distress stain and dark blue acrylic paint to further embellish. For the camera chippie I applied some grey maya gold for the main part of the camera and then dabbed some Tim Holtz pewter distress stain to the center. Lastly for the Capture the Moment title piece I dabbed a base coat with and orange distress paint and then applied a little orange silks to the top. I added some paint splats with acrylic in the colors of orange and white. I then added a bit of black soot stain to the bottom if the title.
Haa look at Jojo’s silly face.
