Hello crafty friends! Jenn here today with a super fun project to share! Have you seen the beehive 5 page album available? I have used it with decorative papers and other chippies from Creative Embellishments to create this adorable album!
Chipboards used:
Beehive Mini Album 5 Pages
Beehive Shaker
Bumblebees
To create my album I used my scan ‘n’ cut to cut the decorative and black papers to fit. This was done by tracing the beehive onto white paper, scanning it in, and then cutting from the various papers. If you do not have this machine you can do the tracing to make a template and then cut from the papers.
The cover piece was embossed using a few different powders to create a “honey” look. This same technique was used on the shaker cover. The shaker was assembled adding gold and black sequins along with some green dew drops.
My bumblebees were painted and embossed using clear powder.
To bind the pages I used a ring on the side. I punched holes one at a time tracing each one with the previous to ensure a good fit. Black and yellow ribbons were added to the ring.
All of the pages were decorated prior to adding them to the ring.
Thanks so much for viewing my project today!
