Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing a fun beach themed altered frame today!
For this project I have used the following Creative Embellishments Chipboards
Seashells 2
Starfish
Sand Dollars
Nautical Anchor
Nautical Captain’s Wheel
Nautical Lighthouse
This started as a 7″X8″ premade frame. First it was painted in a vintage white, followed by a marine blue. Once the blue was tacky (not dry), I used a damp cloth to wipe away some of the color revealing the vintage white underneath. All chipboards were painted and the sand dollars and starfish were also embossed with powders and heat set. To add texture around the rope on the frame, some sand texture was added.
Flowers were added, along with mini art stones and a chipboard sentiment. A paper doll was perched on the Captain’s wheel to finish it off.
