Hello, there my beautiful CE friends! I hope you are keeping well. Spring is here!! I am definitely feeling it down here in Florida. It’s warming up very quickly down here. I’m gonna have to prepare for a really hot summer. In other words, I will need to get some work done ahead of time. My craft room is in the garage and I don’t have any insulation. For now, let us unlock some inspiration using some of my beloved CE chipboard designs.

Heart Bow & Arrows Set (Wood Veneers)
**Let’s blossom together, shall we?!**
1. Choose your desired papers, I am using my own papers I designed
*Hint: Cherry Blossom Wonderland available in my online store
2. Next decoupage your paper to the keyhole and adhere the two pieces
3. Next, fussy cut your chosen images. I used my Cherry Blossom arrows for this one
4. Water down some gold paint and splatter the canvas surface
5. Alter your chipboard and wood veneer pieces using some metallic lavender acrylic paint
6. Start assembling your composition by applying your cut-out arrows and distressed heart
*Hint: As you will see, I only put my on the colored square spaces
I think this adds contrast
7. Now layer your flowers and add some extra glam with a mix of beads and shaker pieces
8. Once that is dry, apply your heart arrow and gold key casting with chains
9. As a finishing touch, distress the edges with gold wax
*Hint: I think this technique really finishes the piece providing it a nice frame
10. Finally, add some card heart pieces to the tops of the flowers randomly
