Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing another fun mixed media re-purposed project! This time I took a short break from grunge and went with a bit of glam on a repurposed frame.
The Creative Embellishments Oval Ornate Frames are a favorite of mine. The one used here was prepared by coating it in bright white acrylic paint and a thin layer of crackle paste for texture.
The base of my piece is a simple dollar store clipboard that I removed both the clip and the stand from. It was coated in Black gesso and the edges were rubbed with gold wax lightly. The frame was backed with decorative paper and to accent that beautiful chipboard frame, fussy cuts and molded pieces were used. A quote tile was the finishing touch along with some splatters of gold and white acrylic paints.
