Welcome back to another post here. Lots happening around the house and the fall is always busy with orchards, halloween, football games and of course Homecoming. So after a much exciting football game. Olivia got to go to her first Homecoming. And of course she had to get a photo with her Goat Enso.
Here is a short video of the creative process.
I started with some base paper and prepped it with clear gesso knowing I was going to use a bunch of mediums on this page. I started with a few stamps and various colours, I started with the distress grid on the background. Then I added background with the Film Strip.
Using see Textured Paste and the Tiles Stencil I add background onto the page. After some heat setting I add a little more colour to the background with spray.
I wanted to keep with the Hollywood Theme and pulled out the Film Set and Film Strip Picture Frames. I dig out some Embossing enamel and applied to both the Film Set and the Film strip Picture Frames.
After I heat set the film chipboard, I just start to layer up the page. Using a variety of leftover scrapes. I hate to throw anything away, die-cuts and stickers from the paper pack. with lots of layers I start with bigger layers on the bottom and work to the smaller elements, adding flowers and the chipboard into the papers. Finishing off with a few micro beads and splashes of paint.
Such great memories for Olivia and her first homecoming Hollywood theme. Thank you for stopping by today.
