Hello everyone!
As this layout posts I am currently taking my last camping trip with my family for this season!!
I’m so glad we are able to spend time in nature like this most summers.
It really is so peaceful and relaxing for me and fun to play card games and go on hikes with my kids and hubby.
On this one I picked my photos and the word smores out of the Camping Word Set to get my start.
Then I found a fun sketch from the ScrapRoom blog to set the stage.
I really wanted my title to stand out on this busy layout so I added some white chalk marker. Then I went for a burnt marshmallow look with it. I added medium brown marker around the edge and then a lighter brown marker where I pushed into the middle of the alpha lines a bit more to give it the layered color look you can see in my photo.
Of course every good camping layout is going to include a few of those pesky bugs. So I used an ant and fly from the Bugs set too.
There are some more fun camping sets in the store that I didn’t use on this layout. One I wish I had found before doing this layout is the Smores Set. Isn’t that cute?!!
