A lot of us are thinking about school this time of year and I had these fun photos of my son accomplishing a reading goal a few years ago that needed to be scrapped.
The title piece Oh! the places you’ll go! worked perfectly with my photos and I built the rest of my layout around it and the photos.
I used different colors of gel crayons on my title to make the words I wanted stand out more.
Reading did not come easy for my little guy.
He had to work really hard to reach this goal and I needed something on the layout to represent that.
That’s why I dug into the Conditioning Word set and pulled out the word ‘fortitude’ to put atop this awesome chipboard book from the Books set. When I got the book set I had different photos in mind, I knew I should have gotten more than one set! lol
I used dark blue gel crayon on the word to help it pop against the book which has chalk marker on it.
I used the same chalk marker on this smaller book to continue the theme around my layout.
Here is a close up of the rest of the title.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
