Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing my latest project for Creative Embellishments! Today I have altered a wooden panel from my stash.

This started as a simple plank of wood that I had in my junk pile! First I altered the board itself starting with white gesso and then Distress paint in Speckled Egg was brushed on. Using a woodgrain texture stamp I stamped in a linen color then coated with embossing powder. Using fine grit sandpaper, I rubbed the raised areas a bit to remove some of the shine.
Next, some random stamping using black ink ad various texture stamps from my stash.
The frame and baby’s breath chipboards were also altered using embossing powders. Stenciling with white crackle paste was used on the background to add texture.
Next I added my fussy cuts from a designer paper collection, flowers, and other embellishments and finished with a sentiment.
