Hello!
Angela here today to share my Lucky in Love layout!
There were a whole lot of reasons why this little boy almost didn’t make it into our family.
We don’t do much in the way of celebrating for St. Patrick’s day, but it made sense to use some pics of this little guy and document how lucky we feel to have him in our family.
It seemed fitting to use pictures of him with his pants falling down and his diaper showing because it felt like he ran around like that a lot. lol
So I started with my title, picked my photos, papers and some embellishments and went to work. Starting with my background paper, I used ink sprays to splash green and gold ink around the outer edge before adding my patterned papers.
On the title I used a gold chalk marker. It gives it a hint of sheen in the right light. Under the “in” of the title I used a wood veneer shamrock that I added dashed lines to with a green marker. I did with same with the other shamrocks I added around my layout to bring the eye around the photos to all of the elements.
To finish it off I added some button flairs and a red heart acrylic.
I also inked the edges of my patterned papers in black to help define each paper against the ones near it.
Top it off with a sticker or two and you’re ready to go.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
