Hello CE Friends and Fans!! Jenn here today sharing my latest Design Team project. This time I have created a home decor piece with a Steampunk Sea theme. I have altered my chipboards and combined them with paper, flowers, and other fun bits!!

Acrylic mediums and waxes
White Crackle paste
Before assembling my piece, I altered all of my chipboards with a mix of acrylic mediums and waxes. The large gear was sponged with white crackle paste and allowed to dry completely (best crackle result)before applying other mediums. I then covered 2 of the circle mini album pieces in the papers and set them aside. I traced the inner portion of the large gear using a pencil and cut with an exacto knife from lightweight chipboard to create the middle piece. I adhered this piece in the middle with scrap cardboard under for dimension, then added the rope for interest.
The first papered circle was placed on the back under the gear and the second off to the side layered. Next I added all of my flowers, gears and other embellishments and finished it off with the sentiment strip.
