Hello! Angela back today for my last project this month.
Today I’m sharing a layout that uses a scrapbook line for a surprising subject.
This great line from Simple Stories doesn’t exactly scream soccer (it actually screams lemons) but when you add the right embellishments you can transform a line!
The perfect embellishments for this layout were from the Soccer Ball Set; wood veneer soccer balls in multiple sizes. I used a black marker to color the pentagon shapes for the official soccer ball look. I also used my embellishments to cover pre-printed designs where needed. Like in the photo above my soccer balls are covering the lemons that are on the sticker.
I also found some leftover stickers, old rub-ons & washi tape in my stash that I put to good use here too. I finished up with the a bit of journaling and the hand drawn black lines around the layout. It’s really fun to see how many different ways you can use the same line.
