Hello everyone! Jenn DuBell here today sharing my very first project as a member of the Creative Embellishments Design Team!
For this first project I have created a scrapbook layout using photos of my daughter.
Mini Frames
Oval Ornate Frames
The paper used for my background is a combination of regular papers and rice paper(script) from my stash. The background was created by tearing the papers and adhering them to a sheet of medium weight chipboard. I added splatters of Lindy’s sprays and white acrylic paint. The edges of each paper piece were inked using Tim Holtz Distress ink in Vintage Photo. This was also down all around the outside of the layout.
To prepare the chipboards, I first coated them with heavy gesso. Next I added embossing powders and texture to add interest and give them a vintage look. Both frames used were cut in half to create the pattern around each photo.
Flowers, fussy cut butterflies, glass stones, and glitter were added to enhance the page.
