Hello crafty friends! Tracy here and today I have a fun little piece to share. I created this 8×10 layout for a friend to give as a Christmas gift. I am a dog momma, so I know just how much love there is for our fur babies. So here are all of the details on how I created this gift piece.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Fancy Oval Frame Set
Dogs Leave Paw Prints on Our Hearts
Other Products Used:
49 & Market- Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Collection (patterned paper, ephemera, die cuts)
Flowers
Embossing Pad
Embossing Powder- Red, Midnight Blue
Paper Distresser
Cardstock- White
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Crafty Foam Tape White, Adhesive Dots Micro, Adhesive Dots Medium, E-Z Runner Ultra, Thin 3D Foam Squares
To treat the chipboard I simply covered the frame using red embossing powder, and the dog phrase using dark blue embossing powder.
The layered patterned paper background is cut to 8×10, which can easily be framed and given as a gift. I used die cut pieces and more patterned paper to create layers for behind the matted photo and behind the sentiment.
Mat the photo in distressed white cardstock. Then adhere that to the red oval frame. Adhere this piece to the left hand side of the layout. Adhere the sentiment to the right hand side of the layout using micro adhesive dots. Finally I added some flowers and other ephemera pieces around the matted photo and sentiment piece.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
