Travel The World Over To Find The Beautiful

Hi everyone! Debbie Burns here with you today with a vintage layout. I love vintage photos. I have quite an assortment of old family pictures, this being one of them. Not sure who the couple is in the photo, but the women has a strong resemblance to my Aunt Daphne, who was married to to mom’s brother.

I used the Balmoral paper from Blue Fern Studios Happy Accident 2 collection. I added lots of stamping to the background, including the Circle Boken Stamp. From there I built up layers using some Creative Embellishments chipboard and flowers from my stash. All of the chipboard was treated with various colors of embossing powers, Blue Fern Studios Ebony and Melon, along with WOW Opaque Pastel Blue and Yellow. Splatters of Shimmerz Inklingz include Me & Blue, Get Glowing and Honey Moon.

Love that there are now 2 sized of intricate frames in the store. Here I’ve used one from Oval Ornate Frames along with the same frame from Mini Frames. To right of the frames I used a piece from Distressed Punchinella Pieces.

At the bottom of the frame I used a piece from Ornate Pieces. The word stickers are from Tim Holtz Idealogy Small Talk Stickers.

Here I used one of the new flourishes in the store, Floral Filigree 3. I cut it in half and used it on both sides of the layout. Above the Floral Filigree 3. I used a wood veneer piece from Compass Rose Set of 6, embossed with Melon embossing powder.
