Hey everyone! Welcome to the February challenge! I used black, white and lots of different shades of green on my layout. I used watercolors on white cardstock through the 3 Tree Stencil and then fussy cut them and added to my background. I added some green mist to the Brick Pieces and placed them to the left and under my photo. I added the same green mist to the words from the Dream Word Set and placed them on my page. Check out my blog HERE for close ups and more on how I created this layout. I am looking forward to seeing your take on this challenge!

Hello, there all you beautiful people!! I hope you all are doing well. This month we are challenged with a black and white color combination with an additional one color. You know me, I’m going to challenge myself. I thought to myself, what is a color combination you never see during the month of February? A lightbulb went off in my head *ding* This is what I came up with, what do you guys think?! I used loads of chipboard pieces like Flourish Heart Frame 1, BIG Plywood Heart, Wooden Hearts to create my composition. I altered the pieces using some black gesso and iron colored wax to highlight their gloriousness and make them the star of the show. I hope you like what I created. We hope you are inspired to join us this month.
Welcome to February, “the month of Love.” This month our challenge is to create a project with black, white and one other color. I chose to work with a pale teal. My inspiration was a stock bridal photo from Flickr. Creative Embellishments products used are the Heart Doodle Frames, Isn’t She Lovely title, some Conversation Hearts and the Distressed Crackle Stamp. My papers and mediums are all 13 Arts. Check out my blog for more details and close-ups. Can’t wait to see what you create!
What a fun challenge this month! My youngest daughter loves Shrek, and this challenge was the perfect opportunity to document her new Shrek knit hat. I used a black, white, and green color palette. To help anchor the photo spot to the layout I used the Halftone Circle Stamp Set with black archival ink to add a dot print that complemented my circle and polka dot patterned papers. The Social Hashtag Chipboard Set had the perfect title word for this layout. I embossed the chipboard word with Ice Resin Chartreuse Iced Enamels.
Hi everyone and welcome to the February Challenge! Always enjoy a challenge that pushes me beyond what I am comfortable with. I love to create using several colors. I wasn’t sure what color to include with the black and white theme until I came across a package of Petaloo grey flowers. I applied some Tom Holtz tissue paper to the canvas. I used a damask stencil and modeling paste. I sprayed the canvas with Lindys Gang I’m Late, I’m Late Slate Flat Fabio Spray. Once dry I applied some stamping. I used a combination of white and black embossing powers on Flourish 26, Flourish 3, Square Mini Frames and Mini Frames. On the Mini Leaves Set 2 I used Lindy’s Gang Chrome Doesn’t Pay. to complete the canvas, I added flowers, Tim Holtz Butterflies, Mini Prills and microbeads. I hope you’ll join us this month. Can’t wait to see what you create.
Hi Creative Embellishment fans! Happy Monday. For this challenge, I chose to do black, white, and cream (a big cream flower, cream lace, cream tulle flowers, and cream pearls). The CE product I used is a Bubbly Frame. This is a layout of me on a girls day out having a yummy frozen drink.
Good morning CE fans! I am excited to share a layout I created about our sons senior prom! I used the Infinite Rectangle Frame, Ornate Mini Borders, Ornate Pieces, Senior Prom, Ornate Leaves, Oval Scalloped Frames, and Damask Stencil

Hey crafty friends!I love the beginning of a month and a new challenge to create. I don’t often scrapbook more boyish stuff. But I had a lot of fun creating this one using a friends photos. The challenge as you know by now is Black & White, with the choice to add a pop of ONE other colour. I chose that bright blue.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Distress Circle Border
Distressed Punchinella Pieces
Journey Word Set
Here’s easy for you, I treated all of the chipboard pieces the same. I covered them all with black embossing powder. I covered the title word in 2 coats to give more of an ultra enamelled look.
You can get ALL of the other details about my layout on my blog HERE.
