Hey There Pumpkin created by Tracy McLennon

Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Autumn Leaves Quartrefoil Stencil Ornate Square Frames

I absolutely love this November Challenge. My favourite season and my favourite colour palette, all wrapped into one glorious challenge.
I started by covering all of my chipboard pieces in DecoArt Media Gold paint. Let dry completely. Then I covered the large frame with Distress Embossing Glaze (Fossilized Amber). Having the gold paint under the glazes, gives such a beautiful shimmer to the chipboard. Next I covered my leaves in 3 different glaze colours, Fossilized Amber, Hickory Smoke and Fired Brick.
I used the stencil to add some pattern to my background patterned paper. Using a stencil brush and 2 colours of Distress Oxide Ink (Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo) I added the design.

I loved the fall colors in the challenge photo this month and decided to use that and fall chipboard pieces as inspiration. I used a frame from the Autumn Frame Set and the Leaves and Rake set and painted them with acrylic paints. I love how real those leaves look. I look forward to seeing your take on this challenge!
Autumn Garden by Jessica Larios

Hello everyone and welcome back! As you can see I was totally inspired by the photo to create this canvas. The colors are so warm and inviting, aren’t they?! Autumn, as we all know, is a season for changing. The green turns to soft color tones of brown, orange, and reds. I wanted to encompass that soft change within my piece for you this month. And with the thought of change. I chose to use one of the fairies from the Fairies collection to adorn the frame to appear as if she is looking in on a changing world. To alter the fairy, I used multiple colors of autumn feels acrylic paints. I used the Branch and Leaves because the trees too were inspirational. I altered it to a darker brown color using acrylic paint to help provide some contrast throughout the piece. I liked the size and shape of the Autumn Leaves so I decided to add those throughout the canvas randomly. I think the really sold the autumn feels I was trying to obtain, don’t you? For the twist this month, it’s adding your favorite quote. I love the embrace imperfection quote because we are all so imperfect and like the season of change we too can change. Embrace our mistakes, learn from them, and come about anew.
I love to use quotes on my project so the twist to use a quote this month is right up my alley. I chose a cut-apart quote for my project which is a tag from the
Large Tags set. I love making tags and CE’s large tags are a great size at 5.5″ x 10″. I also used the
Round Distressed Stamps heat embossed under the cut-aparts. Can’t wait to see everyone’s quotes on your challenge entries! Maggi xoxo
Hi everyone and welcome to our November Challenge. I love this time of the year. It’s cooler outside and the leaves are changing colors and quickly dropping to the ground. I created this decorative wooden piece, which actually are pieces of bark from trees in my orchard. I used the following chipboard pieces from the store
Circular Twig Frame,
Frond Set 5,
Twigs, and
Autumn Leaves. All of the chipboard pieces were inked with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink and dabbed with various colors of paint.
I hope you’ll join us this month.

Hello friends! The November Challenge is here and soon we will be celebrating the holidays! Fall was beautiful this year but now the winds are picking up and
the leaves are falling. We had a big taste of Winter last week leaving behind 14″ of snow.
Here is my take on the challenge for this month and the twist is a favorite quote.
This layout features the
Leafy Corner Flourish Set as well as the
Rose Leaf Spray. To alter these pieces I used embossing powder to coordinate with the flowers and colors of the photo focusing on the lavender. My Quote “find Yourself and be that” is the added twist for the challenge. You can see all the details on my blog
here.
I was so inspired by the colors of this months challenge and the artsy feel of the image!
