Hello all, I would love to share a fun card and tag set I made for my good friend Pam, she loves llama’s. We all call her Pam-a-llama. She is so fun, bright and bold in so many ways and her favourite colour is green. So I wanted to incorporate all of those traits in the cards.
I usually started with some background stamping unless the paper is really really busy. I love this paper collection I works great with backgrounds. Even if I end up covering most of it up. I used a few different colour of ink on the background. Starting with the distress chevron stamp and black, I sporadically stamped it.
Moving on the the distress grid stamp, I added some subtle yellow, and it was subtle. But I liked the look of it.
I made a short video of the creative process.
I love texture, and I wish I could just add more and more texture to a piece but I am too impatient to let it all dry. I started with some black matte paste with the weave stencil. After drying I go polar opposite with a bright white crackle in the Lattice panel Stencil.
I wanted to use some bright foils on the chipboard, But wanted the look to be more rustic. Not perfect, not all the way to the edges. Spots here and there. Using the puzzled panel, I added matte medium to the background with a spatula. After heating it to the point of bubbling, I pressed the foil down on the panel to get the acheaved look. I
I have to always add to the inside of the card, you just cant leave it blank. I had the rest of the panel to full in the centre.
I made a tag to add to the gift bag. Just a fun little tag to hang off the side. I dont even know if I will write on it or not. But Pam loves her llama’s. This was layering and just adding the llama as the focal point.
I love the foil on this one. So pretty and it pulls out the vibrant colours of the tag.
Thank you for watching and Happy Crafting!!!!
