Hello Dear Friends! Kathy Mosher back with you today to share another layout featuring my baby girl who has a birthday this month. She is my Ginger, Autumnal baby and we both love fall. I am featuring her in this layout, as she is: natural, happy, no makeup, hair wispy and hanging out with her boys (my grandsons). Happy Birthday Sweetheart! Hope you enjoy!
I am using two different paper collections. The base is from Prima “Pumpkin and Spice” and the middle is from Authentique “Bountiful” . I begin by using acrylic paint on the fabulous 12″ size in the set of Large Filigree Frames This is such a stunning frame and really makes a statement. However, it did not conflict with the casual theme of the layout.
I made several different pumpkin and flower clusters around the layout. Starting at the right bottom I used one of the Pumpkin Sets which I painted in a copper acrylic and then hand rubbed a bright orange paint to give it some depth. I did the same thing with the leaves. I painted them in a light aqua and them rubbed them with a darker greenish teal. Love how this little cluster turned out.
Here’s another picture of the pumpkin on the left side of the layout using the same technique.
At the top right of the layout I used the top portion of Pumpkin Photo Corner chipboard, which I gave the same treatment as the other pumpkins. Underneath the corner I used the Arched Window Set chipboard from which I used the larger window and painted it a hazelnut color.
Our leaves are turning yellow and falling. It won’t be long before they will be gone from the branches. Hope you have a lovely Fall week everyone!!!
