Hey everyone!
Laura here to share my next art piece I created using LOTS of CE goodies!
Our youngest is a wrench head – he loves wrenching on things and creating cool stuff. This is one of his bikes he put together!
I used so many pieces of chipboard to create this art piece that will hang in our shop!
I used a 12″ gear, 10″ gear, 8″ gear, large gear, and large gear 2 as a base
I used large gear frames, Gear set 3, Gear cluster set 2, Screw head set, riveted, Bicycle chain Borders, and pieces I cut from the mini brick panel.
To color all the pieces I began by covering them all with white gesso.
I then used texture paste and the Gear Stencil 2 on spots in the larger gears. On the smaller pieces I used crackle paste and texture paste to add dimension an visual interest
I started layering brusho powders and mists to achieve the colors I wanted then dry brushed white gesso to highlight the raised edges
A few of the pieces like the title, I simply painted black to add contrast!
I added some stones and beads to finish the layout
