Hello CE fans! I am sharing a special 8 x 8″ scrapbook page featuring this very sweet little baby who is my great niece. In this photo she is not quite 2 weeks old. I just love the way her hand seems to be holding up her head while she sleeps.
This is really a simply layout, just two paper designs joined with the vertical strip. I wanted the photo to take center stage and sometimes simple is better! I think the chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments add all that is needed.
Creative Embellishments had the perfect Dream word set for this photo! I heat embossed it with Stampendous Aged Ivory embossing enamel. I love the gold flecks in the powder, goes so well with this Graphi 45 collection, Dreamland.
Have you seen the new large frames in the Creative Embellishments shop? I am loving them all. This one came in a set of 2, one to fit 8 x 8 pages, and one to fit 12 x 12 pages. A large page frame is so pretty and sort of pulls everything together. I started out by heat embossing with Stampendouse Aged Ivory embossing enamel. After that coole off, I dabbed more embossing ink randomly around the frame and added splotches of Stampendous Aged Marine embossing enamel. I love the two tone look and it makes the frame blend so nicely with the paper.
It is hard for me to do anything without covering it with flowers but since this is going in an album I wanted it to be relatively flat. Sooo, I fussy cut this little guy riding to take the place of flowers. Looks like he is sprinking star dust!
