Hello, there all my fellow CE fans! Jess here with my latest creation using some beautifully intricate chipboard designs. I took my main inspiration from the doily and went from there. When I saw the fairies, I thought they went perfectly with the doily. The design took off from there. I looked through my flower stash and decided that these colors would be dance together nicely. Today I decided to feature the Doily 2 chipboard piece which I altered using some metallic steel acrylic paint. I added a magical Tiny Fairies to each tag to be the stars of the show and altered them by using some gold acrylic paint.
1. Begin by laying down a layer of black gesso directly to the surface
2. While that’s drying, paint your fairies gold
3. Now alter your doily chipboard using the steel acrylic paint
4. Take some gold paint and water it down to splatter the surface
5. Distress the edges of the tags using some gold wax
6. Next, distress the flowers using some black ink to grunge them up a bit
7. Paint the bottoms of the molds with black gesso and distress the tops with gold wax
8. Layer everything starting with the doily then the flowers
9. To finish them off, add the fairies, gold glass pearls and castings

Here are some close-ups for you to enjoy!
I hope you have enjoyed your time with me today and I will see you next time.
