Hello Dear Scrappy Friends!!!  It’s Kathy Mosher today with a layout that is very special one for me.  Do you remember my little niece Dani that was pregnant.  Well, she did have a little baby boy on February 21.  I haven’t said anything yet, because I wanted her to make the announcement.  Well she did!!!  And, since she is a photographer by trade, I wanted her to post the photos she wanted to share first, so this is one of many that I will probably scrap for her.  They live in the Northwest and are all about little critters, camping and the outdoors, so that’s what his first layout had to be about, all the little critters welcoming Myer Jack to the world.

He weighed 8 lbs 9 ozs and was 21 inches long.  Such a big healthy baby.  So I started with one of my go-to chipboard that is perfect for masculine, or action layouts the Arrow Frame has so much movement and style, a cool accent for any layout.  I painted it in a beautiful copper color.

Photoplay has this adorable “Camp Happy Bears” paper collection with lots of bears and deer and moose oh my for me to fussy cut or stickers to have fun with.  I am, of course, a purist.  I always place my stickers on cardstock and fussy cut around them and them ink the edges.  I did the same for these little guys and I also popped them up with various forms of foam and cardboard.  The critters needed a playground to romp in so I used the Seagrass chipboard tuffs which I painted in two different colors of blue green acrylic paint.  I think the Seagrass chipboard was the “Star” of the layout!!!

At the left top of the layout I created a flower cluster with Frond Set 3  along with two lovely flowers from 13 Arts that I have been saving, and another striped flowers to go with the stripes in his blanket.

And last, the title of this fun layout comes from the set of Baby Word Set which was painted a light metallic brass colored.  Add a few Prima flowers here and there and you are finished.

Thank you so much for joining me today.  And, thank you to Nicolle for believing in me and having me as a member of her Design Team.  She is the best.  Till next time, here is a Big Alaska Bear Hug!!!
