Jennifer Snyder here shakin’ up projects for kids and baby using some fabulous Creative Embellishments products accented with Rinea Foiled papers– our collaborative crafty partner for the month of March.
All month, we’ll be featuring chipboard creations combined with Rinea products.
I created a gift set which includes a baby bath time canvas and card for an upcoming baby shower for a co-worker. The rubber ducky canvas was fun and a simple project to make.
These are the chipboard pieces used in today’s projects.

Here is the card made with Creative Embellishments – Teddy Bear Shaker Set and Lovely Lace chipboard border shaker mix from Buttons Galore and More and rich foil paper from Rinea.
The bear and border chipboard pieces were painted with acrylic paint and backed with the Rinea foil papers on brown and gold.
The rich brown foil paper used on the base layer of the bear is from Rinea Autumn Foiled Paper pack. It’s very interesting because when the shaker is tilted in different angles, the foil appears to take on different shades.
Every cool successful shaker project needs fabulous shaker mix so I used my favorite mix from Buttons Galore. The finishing touch is also from Buttons Galore – a darling 3D button in the shape of a little sheep.
Here is the second project created in the gift set. This is an 8×8 canvas turned into shaker art.
I cut a piece of patterned paper to cover the canvas, then added the Creative Embellishments – Duck Shaker.
The rubber duck is backed with the gold foiled texture paper from Rinea Metallics Foiled paper set and filled with Buttons Galore – Sparkletz – Lucky Charmz shaker mix.

The button and sequin bubbles were attached to the canvas using heavy matte gel medium, which dries clear and is a great adhesive form dimensional projects.
