I’m Kathy Mosher with you today to share another layout of my sweet niece Dani when she was 6mths pregnant. Her due date is today, and there are no contractions yet, just baby getting bigger and stronger. We Visit Website, read articles and talk with doctors as we never get satisfied with the care we give her. She and her hubby went to Phoenix and had some pictures taken by her twin brother Andrew Dickerson, who is quite a photographer. Here is one of my fave photos from the shoot. Hope you like the layout!!!
Dani is such a fabulous artist herself. She has her own food photography business (you can also check out food photography toronto to get your project done ) and design studio. She does incredible work. She specializes in elopement or bridal/romantic themes. She has been featured in many magazines including “Brides” and “Bridal”.
I started making the layout by using 2 different 49 and Market papers from the Etheral and Bold and Beautiful collections. Love that grey and white gingham and so does Dani. She is also into the nude tones right now. I wanted to give the layout a little artsy flair, clean and simple and dramatic. I decided to use one of my favorite chipboard pieces which is the Infinite Circle Frame under the photo. I used silver acrylic paint and then distress ink to tone down the shine.
Then I found in my Creative Embellishment stash two different heart sets. Both of these I painted with a gorgeous light peachy acrylic paint. The one on top comes in a set of four which is from the Heart Doodle Frame Set . It is very elegant. I tucked it into the large flowers and bows features on the left of the photo.
Now I have had the large and small black flowers for a long time and never thought I would use them. I have others with prints in them as well that came with other collections that you never think you will use and then shazam!!! Along comes a layout like this where they work perfectly. Go figure. That’s why you never throw them away!!!!
In the heart below the photo is the word love which is so appropriate for the layout. The chipboard piece was cut apart from the Love Heart Flourish that I had used from another project. I also used a little phrase sticker on the right of the photo near Dani’s belly and the baby that says “waiting for you”.
That’s all for me today. Hope you have a great weekend and find some time to create something beautiful. Until next time here’s a Big Alaska Bear Hug!!!
