Hello crafty friends and welcome back!
Tracy here, and today I have a pretty little layout to share. Have you ever gotten a piece of chipboard that you just love, but with that love comes a timidness to use? Well this beautiful doily was MY piece! I just think it is SO pretty, I was afraid to do anything with it. Here are the details.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Doily 2 Celebrate Words Set Flourish 15
Other Products Used:
Cardstock- White, Prima Darcelle Collection (patterned paper, flowers, die cuts), Lindy’s Embossing Powder (Copper), Stampendous Embossing Dauber, Paper Distresser, Lindy’s Mister (Dark Green), Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Ultra, Adhesive Dots Medium, Adhesive Dots Micro)
Start by misting the flourish with a dark green mister, let dry. Then add copper embossing powder to just the tips of the leaves and swirls of the flourish. Then cover the “together” word and the doily completely with copper embossing powder.
Create a simple layered background using patterned papers from the Darcelle Collection by Prima, with all of the edges distressed. Double mat the 4×6 photo in white cardstock. Adhere the doily to the right of the layout using Adhesive Dots Micro, then add the matted photo on top of that.
Cut a small piece of the flourish off and add that small piece to the top of the matted photo and add the larger piece of the flourish to the left of the matted photo. Then add the flowers around the pieces. Finally add the title to the left of the matted photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
