Welcome back crafty friends! Tracy here, and today on the Creative Embellishments blog I have a funky and bold layout to share. Here are all of the grungy details on how I created my layout.

Creative Embellsihments Chipboard Used:

Paint Splats                                  Magical Words               Distressed Harlequin Pieces

Other Products Used:
Cardstock- Dark Teal, Black, White
Paper Distresser
Black Paint
Ranger- Wendy Vecchi Embossing Powder- Forget-Me-Not, Garden Patina
Emerald Creek Embossing Powder- Midnight Magic
Embossing Dauber
Distress Oxide Ink- Black Soot
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Adhesive Dots Micro, Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Ultra

I created a layered background with distressed and inked cardstock. The bottom teal layer I splattered with black acrylic paint before beginning. Make sure you let it dry completely before handling.

Each chipboard piece is covered with 3 colours of embossing powder. I started in the middle of each with Garden Patina, then the outer edges using Forget-Me-Not and finally just the tips of the edges using Midnight Magic. The “Enchanting” title word was covered a little differently but still with all 3 colours. The top edge in Garden Patina, the middle with Forget-Me-Not and the bottom with Midnight Magic.

I added the pieces to the layout using adhesive dots. Then I matted the photo in multiple layers of distressed cardstock, and adhering them using foam tape for extra dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
