Happy New Year Everyone!!!  I’m Kathy Mosher back for another DT term with my favorite Team.  Thank you so much Nicolle for letting me stay on for one more term with this wonderful company making these fabulous products.  Well here in Alaska we are finally gaining some daylight and it is COLD!!!  Yep, our temps are back to the minuses like they were in the good ole days.  I’d prefer the single digits, not the -10F degrees!  On to my layout of this precious little darling that I found on Pinterest.  She looks like she could be an ice princess right out of the movie “Doctor Zhivalgo”  All covered up with those gorgeous fake furs.  This layout sparkles like crazy in real life!!!

I’m still spitting out mariboo feathers…I started with the background paper that is an old Bo Bunny ski collection paper.  I used an Anna Griffin Die Cut down the middle using silver paper to give some yummy texture for the layering.  The I added some doilies, and next I added one of my favorite snowflake chipboard Snowflake Frame 3.  I painted it with a silver acrylic paint first, then I sprinkled some Martha Stewart extra fine, super sparkly silver glitter using glossy gel medium to adhere the glitter.  I love how the glitter stuck on some places and not on others.  And yep!!!  There is glitter everywhere!!!!

I added flowers that are made with silver paper through and through as well as vellum with the edges dipped in silver glitter.  But, they just didn’t photograph well.  They look like black and white photos.  Here are a couple.

I also tucked in the mariboo pieces that I was referring to earlier that I am still spitting out!!!

And last, is one of the snowflakes from the chipboard snowflake frame set.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!  I’m not one for New Years Resolutions, but I do have a word for the year….”Freedom”.  I will be retiring from the Federal Government with 39-40 years of Civil Service this year.  I am so excited, but really nervous.  I hope I’ll get to do lots more scrapping when I do retire.  Happy scrapping everyone!
