Happy Holidays CE Fans!!! It’s Kathy Mosher back with my last layout for 2019. This layout features my nieces and nephews on the Dickerson, Imler, and Ulstad side of the family. Since there are so many little jingle bells on the layout I figured that would be a good title for it. Enjoy!
The Mintay paper collection “Home for Christmas” was my choice for this layout. I loved the wreath covering the window idea, which is exactly the image under the photo and embellishments of the layout. So I started with one of my favorite chipboard wreaths, the Pine Needle Frame, and painted it with a gorgeous “Forest Green” acrylic paint from Art Alchemy. I inserted lots of embellishments: tinsel, flowers from 49th & Market, jingle bells, stars, and did I mention jingle bells?? Here’s a couple of photos:
At the top and the bottom of the photo, on a diagonal, I added the Pine Cone Clusters in sets of two. The pine strigs were also painted with Dark Forest Green. Thepine cones were painted with Hazelnut by Art Alchemy acrylic paint. They really are there, just so many fun layers over the top!
Here is a close-up of the wreath, pine cone clusters and all the tinsel-ly jingle-lys!
The title chipboard is the gorgeous Merry Christmas set which comes with a large and small option. I used the small one and painted it with black acrylic paint.
Here is a another view of the layout:
As you can see, I did an extensive amount of fussy cutting. The finishing touch is paint splatters with with watered down gesso to create an illusion of a dusting of snow!
Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you a Merry Christmas filled with joy, peace and much love!
Big Alaska Bear Hug!
