Hi everyone!  Debbie Burns here with you today sharing an Autumn inspired shadow box with lots of Creative Embellishments chipboard. I took a walk around my property last weekend and gathered some bits and pieces of tree bark, acorns and dried flowers.  My initial intent was to create a canvas with the items and then I came upon a shadow box I had purchased and thought it would be perfect to capture the essence of Autumn.

I started off my lining the bottom of the box with pieces of bark from my Crepe Myrtle tree.  Next I layered some papers and then added lots of Autumn Creative Embellishments chipboard.

Here I used the new Cotton chipboard pieces.  Love them!  I dabbed them with Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink and then dabbed on some Prima Vintage Gold wax.   To the left and right of the Cotton I used the Daisy Cluster chipboard piece which I cut in half.  I inked it with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink and dabbed it with Prima Fire Ruby Wax.  I filled acorn caps with seedlings which you can see to the left of the Cotton.

Love the Autumn Leaves chipboard.  I used several pieces from the set.  I inked them with a variety of Ranger Distress Inks, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye and Antique Linen.  I then added Prima waxes, Vintage Gold, Aged Brass, Bronze Age, Rich Copper, Fire Ruby and White Gold.

Beneath the bird at the top and on the right hand side of the box I used pieces from Tree Rings

which I dabbed with Prima White Gold wax.

I hope I have inspired you.

Thanks for stopping by!
