Laura here and I am happy to share my next layout using the awesome chippies from Creative Embellishments
I started by tearing and layering the 7 Dots papers (its Christmas paper lol) I then added three strings of hemp and double matted my photo.
I usually cover my chipboard with some clear gesso but
for the gears, I did not want them as a solid color, I wanted more of a wash. So I opted to paint the chippies with a mist alone.

I painted on red Dylusions mist on the washi tape clusters and Washi tape shape clusters, then a bit of dark grey mist.
I did want the title and the steampunk clock to be solid so I inked and embossed them in black.
I altered the title piece because I only want the title grad – so I simply cut of the rest of the word!
