Using my trusty embossing dauber I added the white sparkly (Soft Fallen Snow) embossing powder to all my chipboard pieces. I didn’t want a perfect coverage because I wanted everything to look a little rustic. So in some cases if the powder covered too well, I dusted small sections off.
Next I used the same dauber on just the edges of the window and hinge pieces and added the light brown (Dirty Sand) embossing powder, again trying to achieve a rustic look and brushing bits off when need be. I didn’t want any straight or clean looking lines.
I used Prima’s Apricot Honey Collection to create the background of my layout. I added the Window pieces to either side of the matted photo using 3D foam squares. I added the hinge pieces along the border of the white and grey patterned paper, again using 3D foam squares. Then I added flowers and embellishments around the window pieces. I added the simple chipboard title along with a coordinating die cut, below the matted photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
