Hello CE Friends!!! It’s Kathy Mosher again with a layout to share. This one features another family member, my niece and her little boy Noah. Such a precious photo I had to scrap. Isn’t he just the cutest thing!!!!
I started with the Maja paper collection “Denim and Friends”, gotta love me some blue plaid for my boy’s layouts! It’s okay to use flowers on little boys layouts when they are babies or really little boys, and I love to use stars for little guys as well, so it was perfect when I found these CE Star Pieces . I painted the pieces with acrylic paint in a copper shade that almost looks gold and scattered them around the page strategically amongst the 49th & Market Flowers. I think the color combination is wonderful for masculine layouts.
I absolutely love CE’s Stars Frame and have used it often for school photo layouts. It is a perfect chipboard for this layout as well. Just love how it blends right in with the other stars and continues the movement around the layout.
At this point of creating the layout I just added flower clustesr, sentiments and butterflies. The big star with the burlap in the center hanging from the twine moves back and forth so it has movement on the page. Kind of a fun touch.
Believe it or not this was a pretty easy layout to create, no mixed media, a little bit of paint for the chipboard, organizing the placement of the photo, flowers and chipboard, and SO MUCH FUN!! Please stop by again. Consider entering our Monthly Challenge to win some pretty awesome chipboard!!! Until next time, here’s a Big Alaska Bear Hug!!!!!
