Hi this is Kathy Mosher back with you today to share a layout of my twin niece, Dani and nephew, Andy on Dani’s wedding day having a special, “ewww” moment. Such a precious photo!!!
I used the Prima “George Blues” paper collection for this layout. Her colors were actually grey gray and olive green, but photographed blue and green. I used the Oval Frame 3 to surround the photo. I painted it with acrylic paint first, then added a coat of “Rock Candy” Distress Crackle Paint to get veins and texture on the leaves. Then I rubbed a gold wax into the leaves ever so lightly. Turned out okay.
After arranging lots of yummy flower clusters and fussy cut birds I added more chipboard from Creative Embellishments. Dani loves ferns. So I added clumps of the Fern Foliage 4 on each side of the layout. I covered all the fronds with microbeads so they would look like they were covered with spores. I used the same treatment on the ferns as I did on the frame.
Here are a couple other photos.
Thank you so much for visiting with me today. Hope you enjoyed you stay and will stop back for more fun and inspiration from the Creative Embellishment DT team. Until next time!!!
