Welcome back Creative Embellishments friends!
Today I have a whimsical little layout to share. I don’t know about where you are but I live in a place with lots of snow at the moment. I love winter, but I do have moments where I long for green grass and blooming flowers. When I can’t have it, I scrapbook it.

I created a simple layered background using white cardstock and patterned paper from the Prima Love Story Collection. For a little extra texture I use a paper distresser on the edges of the smaller layers.

I did just a couple of simple alterations to all of the chipboard. First I started with DecoArt Multi-Surface Satin paint. I mixed a few colours to get the hue that I wanted. Using a foam stencil brush I added the colour to all of the chipboard pieces and let dry. I find the the a stencil brush gives fabulous coverage using paint.

Once dry, I added coordinating beads, yes just plain old beads…using a liquid adhesive. For the Intricate Circle Frame I added them around the middle edge. On the corners, I added them just to the outer straight edges. Let dry completely.

I used 2 packages of the Photo or Page Corners 2, and used the large corners. I’ll save the smaller ones for a future project.

I used 3D foam tape to add the Intricate Swirl Frame to the layout. Then used mini adhesive dots to add the Photo or Page Corners.
